Location: Canton, NY Hi New Friends!!     My name is Sasha (AKA Mama dog).  Foster mom sometimes calls me mama dog; as I have already had my first litter of puppies, six beautiful babies who have already found new homes because they are so sweet and adorable!  But let me tell you, they get their sweetness from ME!  Let me tell you my story first and then we can talk more about ME, as it's all about ME!  I found myself in a very noisy shelter as my previous owner surrendered me when she suspected I was pregnant.  Not my fault at all, there were a lot of wandering dogs in our neighborhood!  Not very many people want to adopt a pregnant dog, and my time was running out.  The shelter was getting ready to euthanize me when I started to go into labor, so they reached out to ACDRA to see if they could help.  As my foster mom is from NY and I was in GA, I went to a vet clinic to give birth to my six little ones.  As soon as it was safe to privately transport me to NY, my babies and I hit the road.  My babies are weaned and moving on out and I was able to get spayed two weeks ago and now that I am  fully healed and back to my very playful self,  foster  mom says it is time for me to find a family!  She loves home a lot; but she knows there is someone else out there who has been waiting for me!  I am about 1.5 years old, and am a really good size at 34 pounds.  Let me tell you all the good things about me!  I am living with eight other adult dogs and have figured out who likes to play and who I should leave alone (between you and I the deafie is CRABBIE).  I am good with kids and all adults who will rub my belly or cuddle me.  I love stuffies and can easily entertain myself with a tennis ball for a good half hour or more.  I really like exploring in the woods and I find squirrels very intriguing so cats may not be a good plan for me.  Mama says I am a very good girl as I never have an accident in the house!  Now a couple of things that mama says are not so good but easily correctable, I like shoes!  I don't chew them, I just like to carry them and if there is a random paper towel laying around, I feel the need to shred it.  In true cattle dog fashion, I like to use my mouth a bit to get you moving when I am excited to get outside and go for a walk.  Mama says pulling on her shirt hem, will not make her go faster!  I walk nicely on a leash and I am crate trained although mama hasn't put me in one very much as she is home all day with me.  I sleep very nicely at night on a dog bed in her room and sometimes I get up into bed for a good snuggle!  Mama says I am a very active girl, but I do have an off switch and will settle nicely while you watch a good movie or have to do dreaded chores!  Now, don't I sound like just the perfect girl???  Foster mom says if you would like more information or have any questions about me, hit her up by emailing mrulffes@gmail.com   Foster mom here, Sasha has been the perfect house guest and is such a fun girl!  She is up to date on vaccines, is microchipped, has been dewormed and is newly spayed.  She is currently being fostered in Canton, NY.
