Meowzers

Description

Hi, I'm Meowzers, and life has thrown me a bit of a curveball lately. I was recently surrendered when my owner could no longer care for me, and adjusting to shelter life has been tough. It's a big change for a guy like me, so I may seem a little unsure at first. Give me a moment, though, and you'll see the sweet, affectionate cat that's waiting underneath. I'm friendly by nature and enjoy attention, but I like to take a minute to get to know new people before I fully relax. Once I realize you're kind and trustworthy, I'll lean right into your pets and happily soak up the affection. With the people I love, I'm a big cuddle bug. I don't mind being picked up and held, although I'm a pretty large fellow, so unless you've been hitting the gym, you might find it easier to let me snuggle up beside you instead! While I'm not the type to instantly become best buddies with every cat I meet, I have a kitty friend named Bowzer.   What I'm really looking for is a patient family that will give me a chance to settle in and show them just how loving and loyal I can be. If you're looking for a big-hearted, big-bodied companion, I might just be your perfect match. Estimated DOB:  9/23/2020 To schedule a meet/greet with this pawsome kitty, we recommend that you complete a Pre-Adoption Application which is available here:   https://www.shelteringhands.org/adoptionapplication.  For additional information, email our Adoptions Team at adoptions@shelteringhands.org.  Once applications are approved the Adoptions Team will coordinate the best way for you to get your new furry family member and bring them home.
