He is a low to medium energy guy who enjoys playing with his dog friends, entertaining himself with toys, and then settling in right beside his people for all the attention he can get. He would be a wonderful fit for a calm, loving home ready to give this lanky, lovable boy a place to call his own.Howdy is a friendly and social boy who does a quick sniff before diving right into play with other dogs. He would do great with or without a canine companion. He had a brief encounter with cats and showed curiosity rather than any aggression, so he may do just fine with a patient, dog-savvy cat given enough time and proper introductions. His gentle and sweet nature makes him a great fit for a family with kids of any age.Howdy is a smart, willing learner who may take a few minutes to warm up to new people and situations but settles in quickly once he feels comfortable. He is mostly crate trained and does well throughout the day and overnight. He is mostly house trained on a consistent daily routine and continues to make great progress. He walks well on leash and is a pleasant companion on his daily outings.This sweet, clumsy, big-hearted boy is ready to find his forever person and park himself right by their side.
