Wanda- Homeless No MoreComing to us as an owner surrender after she and her dad recently became homeless - living in their truck. Wanting to do what was best for her to help her to find her forever family who could provide her the safety and security inside of a loving home, he put her needs first and got her to us while working with our staff to ensure an open kennel. Once he secured that for her, he knew that he could then focus on himself and looking for his own safety and security, but he wasnât going to do any of that until he knew she was cared for. How selfless and brave! Wandaâs dad let us know that she is such a sweet and calm little one, who is both peaceful and playful and in meeting her, we think that is the perfect descriptor for her! He let us know that her best qualities are that she is both quiet and cuddly, bringing a sense of peace where she is. She does have separation anxiety, so when he would leave her alone she would look for things to nervously chew until his return. This is nothing that canât be resolved and that a home full of love, grace and TLC with attention to this wonât solve! She is a super sweet girl who will stand up on her back legs for treats and in the one day she has been here has already stolen all the hearts! We hope that we can also say that this is her last day here and that she will soon be off to her forever family home⦠where couches, cuddles and playtime is all she will ever have to worry about again! She is 100% housebroken and crate-trained and she is the perfect LITTLE companion for the family who is ready to give her forever, the one she deserves!
