Poseidon (bonded w/ Calypso)

Description

Poseidon knows what he wants, and knows how to express it, but remains a bit unsure about humans in general. he will often come sit on a lap for warmth and affection, though very much on his terms! He absolutely loves exploring, and will jump at the opportunity to visit any new room in the house, be it an actual room, or a storage closet. He loves being played with, in particular with a "cat dancer" or a wand toy, but will also happily play with his own toys, which he picks up from the bucket, and carries around the house. He's most excellent at carrying things in his mouth, and will very much growl at his sister if she tries to approach toys, or will use his superpowers for grabbing things for mischief -- he has a special penchant for toasted bread, and has managed to sneakily sneak a whole slice in the past. He loves grooming sessions with his sister Calypso and has always been very sweet with his canine brethren in his previous home. His overall approach to napping and playing is very much like his sister's, and he too enjoys watching TV, especially when watching animal shows with bobcats and other tigers. His overall confidence only fails him in one area: he's a bit scared of humans, and still doesn't like being picked up, though he will simply escape -- not biting nor scratching. Once he gets cozy, he loves being pet, and he enjoys belly rub, and will loudly purr for you. Poseidon is a clever kitty, who learned how to play high-five. He will high five you, and expect in return a piece of kibble, and seem to enjoy himself very much! He's also know to carry things around. A piece of toast disappearing from a plate, and re-appearing with small teeth mark under a couch. A bunch of toys "stolen" from the toy crate, and appearing on my desk, or on the bed. This is absolutely hilarious watching him pick a new toy, and carry it around for the rest of the evening :) Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.  This cat is currently in a foster home.
