Description

Chigger aka Chi is a collie mix ready to find her forever home. She is a sweetheart with a dash of mischief who just wants to be loved and love you back! Chi is estimated to be two years old, and is around 50 pounds - but a svelte leggy 50 lbs! She is young and loves to play and run but also loves to snuggle up on the couch with a pillow or a human.She is currently living with two older dogs and a cat, and also has play dates with a neighbor dog who is her age and is able to get along with all!Chi also is great with her foster family, alternating between snuggling and wanting belly rubs even from the kids. She is patient and gentle with kids, but keep those stuffies safe!                                                                           While Chi is good with kids, her forever family needs to keep in mind that she is part herding breed and can get excited if her people are running around too much. She doesnt nip at heels and calms down well, and has not exhibited any other herding traits.She has also been caught with paws on kitchen counters and she has happily declared herself offical leftover inspector, so her foster family has had to keep an eye on whats left out!Chi has also self appointed herself a member of the neighborhood watch and loves to hang out in the window watching the goings on!Chi knows a good amount of commands, including sit, paw, stay, lay down, and come. When people come inside the house she likes to say hi a little too much, and is working on "off". She is crate trained but does not like it, and will show her displeasure with the destruction of whatever is left in or near the crate within pawlength. She is a smart girl and will easily catch on to additional training.  Chi will require a fenced in yard as she loves to go say hi to bunnies and people.
