Description
**French Bulldogs are at risk for many major medical issues like heat stroke, IVDD, and allergies. Cowboy is looking for a bulldog-savvy family that understands their extra, and costly, needs.** Cowboy is everyone's best friend! Cowboy is estimated to be 3 years old, and he is a total extrovert who instantly loves everyone he meets. He is a bubbly and comical guy who loves to be the center of attention. He is confident, affectionate, and oh-so cute - what's not to love? Cowboy weighs about 25lbs. Cowboy is a resilient guy with a rough past, but he doesn't let it dampen his sunny personality. He was originally rescued from a horrible backyard breeding situation and was adopted. Unfortunately, his owner was no longer able to keep him and surrendered him with his buddy, Diego. Diego and Cowboy perfectly complement each other's personalities, and we would love for them to be adopted together, but they can be separated if the right homes come along. Cowboy is the perfect example of a happy-go-lucky pup, and he oozes good vibes. He is eager to explore and make new friends, and brings a smile to everyone's face when he walks into a room. He has a fun and goofy personality, and there are dull moments when he is around. He loves his walks in the cool early morning/late evening air, and appreciates sunbathing and lounging around the house. He loves playing with his toys and snuggling with his foster mom. Cowboy loves other dogs, but could do well as an only dog given he has lots of opportunities to socialize with other dogs. He has done well living with cats and being around chickens, goats, and horses. Cowboy loves kids, but would do best with older kids who can handle his boisterous personality. Cowboy is still working on his house-training, so his new family will need to be patient with him while he is learning. He isn't the biggest fan of being in a crate, but is content to be left home with his dog buddies for short periods during the day. Cowboy is such a special pup, and we can't wait for him to find his fur-ever home. If you think that might be you, submit an application today! Cowboy's adoption fee is $500.
