Strudel is a tasty little morsel of puppy boy! Strudel is a male 12 week old (estimated DOB 7/16/26) male Beagle mix looking for an active happy forever home! Currently in the 11-12 pound range, we estimate that his adult weight will be somewhere around 25-30 pounds, give or take a little or a lot. It's all a guess, after all! Strudel was rescued by the CCHS from a squalid existence in a horrible place. Thankfully, he is unaffected by this terrible beginning and is everything a happy confident sweet and playful pup should be! He is confident and outgoing, one of the bolder pups in the group of 4. He LOVES to romp and play and generally be a rough and tumble adorable boy. Like any baby puppy, Strudel needs a family that will be dedicated to helping him be the best he can be in this important part of his life. He will need house trained, crate trained, obedience trained and above all - socialized! This means taking him all over the place, showing him all sorts of things, introducing him to as many people as you can. Help him be THE BEST DOG EVER! While we aren't requiring that he go to a home with a fenced yard, we caution that Beagles are NOT generally great off leash dogs unsupervised. They will find a scent, follow a scent, lose the scent, realize that they are hopelessly lost. Every day. Multiple times a day. Training them to 'stay in the yard' isn't a thing, as a general rule. Knowledge is power and will keep your beagle baby safe!Strudel is nearly ready for adoption. We are accepting applications for adoption.
