Kona

Description

Adopt Kona! He is a handsome, happy, loving male Great Pyrenees puppy. Currently around 4 months old, he weighs 26lbs now but we expect him to be around 80lbs fully grown. He was found dumped with his brother in a rural area, but has quickly adapted to the good life.  Kona is a big lover of all people, he enjoys the attention. He likes to rest his head in your lap for pets and cuddles. We haven't seen him around kids but think he would do well. Adopters should be aware he is still a puppy so can play a little mouthy.  He loves to play with dogs, especially the large dogs in his foster home. He is working on being gentle with the cats and not rushing at them.  Kona is playful, curious, and goofy. He loves to tear up plush toys and gets the zoomies when he is excited. He especailly gets excited during meal time and will do little hops until you put his bowl down. He is smart and has learned 'Sit', 'Shake', 'Down', and'Kennel'.  Kona does well on walks, but that comes with the occasional leash chewing during the walk. Is good in the car. He even does well in the bathtub for baths.  He can be opinionated and will tell you when he wants something. He also barks when left home alone but stops after a few minutes. Mostly potty trained, currently in training.  Kona is neutered and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $300. He is currently in a foster home in DFW area of Texas. We do adopt out of state, but require adopters arrange their own transport.
