Meet Fern – One of Our Beautiful Woodland Babies! With a name as pretty as hers, it's only right that Fern is an absolute little sweetheart! Fern is one of Mama Willow's six precious Woodland Babies, rescued by Pawfect Match when she was just around two weeks old, after a very difficult start to life. Now four weeks old, Fern is thriving in her foster home and growing into a gorgeous little girl! Fern is one of the biggest puppies in the litter, often competing with her brother Maple for the title of heavyweight champion! She's certainly enjoying her food and making the most of every opportunity to grow big and strong. Her lovely mum, Willow, is a dainty 21lb mixed breed, but Dad remains a mystery. With Fern already considerably bigger than some of her siblings, we're not making any promises about her adult size. She might take after her petite mama, or she might have some rather bigger genes hiding in there! Fern is just beginning to discover how much fun being a puppy can be. She's learning to play with her siblings, investigate new toys, explore different sights and sounds, and enjoy all the cuddles that come with being raised in a loving foster home. We're making sure Fern and her siblings have lots of positive early experiences, including gentle handling, everyday household noises and age-appropriate socialisation, to help prepare them for life with their forever families. Fern won't be ready to leave her mama until she's around eight weeks old, but applications for her forever home are welcome now.
