Description

Warning: Petting Johnson may result in permanently occupied hands. ❤️Meet Johnson, a 3-year-old tabby and white cat who came to us as a stray. While we don't know much about Johnson's past, we do know one very important thing: this boy absolutely LOVES being petted.During his first few days with us, Johnson was a little shy and reserved, but he was always a gentleman. Once he realized he was safe, his true personality started to shine. Now, all it takes is a tap on his kennel door and he's right there, eagerly asking for attention.Johnson has perfected the art of seeking pets. He'll roll his head all over your hand, over and over again, and follow your hand wherever it goes. During his photo session, we practically had to sneak pictures because he kept moving in for more affection! The moment your hand leaves him, he's immediately looking for it again, hoping the petting session isn't over. This sweet boy has not shown any issues with other cats or children and has proven to be a friendly, affectionate companion. He has not yet been tested with dogs.If you're looking for a cat who will make you feel loved every single day, Johnson is ready for the job. All he asks in return is a steady supply of head scratches, chin rubs, and plenty of attention. We don't think that's too much to ask! ❤️Johnson's adoption fee is $50, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! We welcome adopters from out of state to apply! _When it comes to our pets, we're all-inclusive!
