Weather Prophet

Description

Starting October 6, all cats and kittens are FREE to adopt! Come find your new best friend today!Looking for a cat with kitten energy but none of the kitten chaos? Meet Weather Prophet! ☀️Meet Weather Prophet, a 12-year-old white and orange gentleman who proves that age is just a number!Weather Prophet came to us alongside 13 other feline family members, and while he's the oldest of the bunch, you'd never know it from the way he acts. This playful, outgoing boy keeps up with the younger cats with ease and has plenty of energy left for games, exploring, and fun. When he's not busy showing the youngsters how it's done, Weather Prophet is happy to soak up attention from his people. He's a cuddly, affectionate cat who loves spending time with his humans and doesn't let his age slow him down one bit. He may appreciate a little help with brushing to keep his handsome coat looking its best, but he's more than happy to sit still and enjoy the extra attention. Bring out a wand toy, and you'll quickly see his playful side shine!Weather Prophet would be a wonderful match for an older couple or anyone looking for a cat with a laid-back personality and established manners, while still having the playful spirit of a much younger feline. He's shown absolutely no issues with other cats and has done well around calm dogs, making him a great candidate for a multi-pet home.Weather Prophet has spent 12 years perfecting the art of being a great companion. Now he's ready to share his wisdom, cuddles, and playful charm with a family of his very own. Could that be you? Weather Prophet's adoption fee is $25, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet!
