Tramp was found as a stray beside a commercial trash bin at a business in Chandler, and the condition he was in was heartbreaking. His fur was severely matted, dry, and brittle. His skinny little body was covered in scrapes and cuts, both old and new. It was clear this sweet boy had been through a lot. Despite everything he had endured, Tramp showed us nothing but sweetness, kindness, and patience. He allowed us to begin carefully cutting away the larger mats in his fur, brushing him, and tending to his wounds. As we continued working with him and building his trust, we began to see the gentle soul underneath all that neglect. Since then, Tramp has received some much-needed veterinary care, including a dental, neuter, and removal of two floppy rear dewclaws. He is finally getting the care and kindness he deserves! And now? We are watching the light return to his eyes, and his beautiful personality blossom more every single day. Tramp is an absolute sweetheart! He is gentle, well-behaved, well-mannered, obedient, and easygoing. He loves everyone he meets and is happiest when he can simply be near his people. He is a quiet boy who lets you know when he needs to go potty, is super easy to care for, and absolutely loves to cuddle and give kisses. After everything this precious boy has been through, watching him discover comfort, trust, and happiness again is incredibly special. He doesn't ask for much—just love, kindness, a cozy place to rest, and someone who will never let him down. The person who adopts Tramp will be getting so much more than a dog. He is crate trained, potty trained, learning the leash, great with kids and all dogs. Should do well with cats with a proper introduction. He has had a vet visit, is neutered, Microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations, had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), 2 dewormings, and a 1 fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are by appointment only. We are LOCATED in MESA, AZ., near Gilbert/Brown & offer flexible hours 7 days a week. Private message if interested!
