Booman is a big, handsome black cat who found himself at the rescue through no fault of his own when his beloved owner fell on hard times and became homeless. Through circumstances beyond their control, two hearts that once belonged together were separated, and now Booman sits and waits for someone new to give his heart to. At 21 pounds, he is a whole lot of cat - and an even bigger sweetheart! This gentle boy absolutely loves attention and isn’t shy about asking for it. He gives the sweetest headbutts, nuzzles right into you, and soaks up every bit of affection he can get. He even has a bit of a dog like personality, making him the kind of companion who wants to be part of your world and right by your side. And when he’s not busy collecting affection, he enjoys showing off his playful side, especially when a laser toy comes out! He gets along with other cats too. Booman can be picked up when needed, such as for a carrier or a little help getting where he needs to go, but this big guy would probably much rather keep his feet on the ground rather than be carried around. At 21 pounds, he’s already quite the armful! Booman has so much love to give, and he wears his heart right out in the open - in every headbutt, every little nuzzle, and every time he comes looking for your attention. He may be a big boy, but he has a tender heart that simply wants someone to share it with.
