Hello! My name is Newdle! I’m a 15 lb. lab mix, 5 month old gentleman! I’m an old soul with a child’s heart! I was rescued from the floods and tornados of New Mexico and I barely made it here! Some might call it a trim diet and some might call it deprived but whatever it was, I arrived on the slim side and now I’m a beefcake-in training under my new management!   I’ve gone from bony to Bonafide cutie pie!!! Did I hear someone say glow up?! Even though I’m super young and still have my puppy teefers, I’m a dream roommate! I happily kennel up at bedtime, no midnight concerts , no 3am house parties , just a strict 8 hour snooze policy! I’m potty trained with an asterisk* I know exactly where my business belongs, and I take care of it myself provided I have open access! If you close that access , I’ll need you to schedule my breaks with me and allow my bladder to adjust to the new routine please. I’m a professional people-watcher and still deciding if the world is as wonderful as the snack selection at my foster home! I prefer a quiet introduction over a meet-and-greet mosh pit! I’m dog friendly , I’d likely do just great with a cat ( though I’ve never met one) and I’m not jumpy so I’d do great with any ages of children so long as they understand that I can’t be squished or sat on. I’m still learning to trust, so I really need patient, kind and gentle kids to help me gain my confidence! I’m very food motivated! I love snuggles! And I’ll curl up in just about anything that is soft and cozy! I like a good variety, you can see it in my eyes! I’m sweet and shy, not bold and brassy! Think hermit crab, less seagull! But if you praise me, snuggle me and feed me cookies … you’ll easily find yourself on my VIP guest list!
