Zeus

Description

Zeus is a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix about 14 pounds. Despite being named after the king of the Greek gods, Zeus isn't exactly interested in ruling the world. He's much more interested in finding a comfortable lap and someone willing to cuddle with him.  Zeus had a family in Puerto Rico, but unfortunately, when they moved to the mainland United States, he was left behind. We're sure he doesn't understand why his people disappeared, but he's been such a sweet little guy through it all. He loves other dogs and plays so nicely with them. He's gentle, friendly and seems perfectly happy just being part of the group. No need to be the boss or the center of attention. But cuddling is definitely his specialty! Zeus loves being close to his people, and we have a feeling he'd be perfectly content spending an entire evening curled up beside someone on the couch. He's only 2 years old, so he's still a young fellow with plenty of life ahead of him. He's got a lovely balance of enjoying his doggie friends and being a little snuggle bug. Zeus already knows what it's like to have a family, and we'd really love to give him that again. This time, one that won't leave him behind.  Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know their actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like. Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested (if age appropriate), put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico.
