Pete is a 2-year-old dachshund with a big personality, plenty of energy, and lots of love to share! This fun-loving guy enjoys meeting new people and making dog friends, so he’s always ready to make a new connection. Pete is an active boy who would love a family ready to include him in life’s adventures. He does well in his crate and is making progress with potty training. He’s also working on his leash manners and getting comfortable walking in a harness. Pete’s ideal home: Pete needs a securely physically fenced yard where he can safely explore, play, and burn off some of that dachshund energy. His future family should be patient and consistent as he continues learning his manners and building his skills. If you’re looking for a fun, outgoing companion with a big heart and a zest for life, Pete might just be your guy! ❤️ Could Pete be the missing piece of your family? Welcome to Dakota Dachshund Rescue new foster pup Pete. He rarely sits still but I caught him napping. He is a very active inquisitive 2 YO. He is figuring out his new role in the pack. Pete is not available for adoption yet. He is still getting settled and will need to be fully vetted. Stay tuned for pupdates. While Pete settles in and we get to know him a bit better and what type of home would be the perfect fit for him, Pete could use some sponsors to help with his daily needs and medical care. Can you sponsor this sweet boy? My adoption fee help with my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter, dental if needed and microchipping.
