Description
Hi! My name is Waffles! Hi, I’m Waffles! I was rescued as a young adult from a meat farm, and now I’m ready to find a loving home where I can blossom at my own pace. I’m a very sweet, shy guy who warms up with slow, gentle introductions, and once I feel comfortable, I might surprise you—and even myself—with some happy binkies! My favorite things are getting head scratches, especially on my head and between my ears, pushing my treat dispenser ball around, and searching for yummy pellets hidden in my snuffle mat. I’m currently fostered in a home with a cat and dog, but we’re kept separated whenever we aren’t being supervised. I’m a submissive fellow who enjoys being groomed by my foster’s cat, so I’d likely do well with another bunny friend, too! I’d love an attentive human who has plenty of time for affection and those wonderful head scratches. My menu includes Oxbow pellets, a timothy hay blend, and mixed greens, and I’m definitely a treat-motivated guy! I also have excellent litterbox habits, so no worries there. I molt twice a year, and while brushing isn’t exactly my favorite activity, I’m sure the right treat could help change my mind! If you have a little patience, lots of love, and some tasty snacks to share, I could be the sweet companion you’ve been looking for. Could you be the one to help me come out of my shell? *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Male (nuetered) Approximate birthdate: 9/21/2024 Approximate weight: 7.6 poumds Adoption fee: $100.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
