SWIFTFOOT*

Description

Meet Swiftfoot! This tiny, but mighty, kitten came into the Shelter as a sick underage kitten. For the past few weeks, he has been receiving TLC, medical care and socialization in a foster home. He is now back and ready for adoption. His foster reports: `Swiftfoot came into foster care as a small, wide-eyed kit, but from a young age showed signs of being a great hunter. It was a delight to see this tiny ball of fur crouch low, tail still, waiting for the perfect moment to pounce on anything that moved: a feather toy, an unsuspecting sock, a lock of hair. But Swiftfoot is not only a fierce hunter! At the end of a long day on patrol duty, he is very happy to curl up and purr on your lap to rest up for the next day. You will definitely be happy with this very special cat!`Swiftfoot would thrive as an indoor-only kitten to keep him safe (as well as our local wildlife). A home with other animals may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Swiftfoot is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
