Hi!  My name is Molly and I am looking for a forever home.  I was surrendered to a small rescue after my previous owners didn't want to keep me in the house, didn't have a fenced yard for me to stay safe in and lived near a busy street.  Fortunately, a neighbor saw how they treated me and was able to talk them in to giving me to the rescue.  A volunteer with that rescue then contacted BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes!  I appear to be a small pug mix and the vet thinks I'm around 10mos to a year old and I only weigh a little under 11lbs and shouldn't get too much bigger.  I am shy when I first meet new people but my foster parents have been really nice to me and I have learned I can trust them; now I love getting attention and take treats gently from them.  I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met and haven't bothered those things called cats.  I have shared my crate with my friend Maggie who is just a little bigger than me without any issues and we love to wrestle and play; we also eat side by side without a problem as we both love our food and finish about the same time.  I've done well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding but would really prefer to be out with you.  I'm still learning the leash-thing but with some time and practice I should get it down, especially since it means I get to be with my person.  If you would like to learn more about me or meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
