Description

A SWEET DOLL BABY: Approx. 10 years old  / Approx. 25 lbs. Hi, I'm Chichi! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a new home. Thankfully, they welcomed me with open arms, and I've been receiving good medical care and lots of love since I arrived. That makes me one happy pup! I'm really enjoying my time with the nice volunteers and can’t wait to find a wonderful family to call my own. Hopefully, that will happen very soon!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven't met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let's meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me as I do have some arthritis.   • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers describe me as a sweet, friendly, and gentle girl with a happy little heart! I may start out a bit calm and reserved, but once I feel comfortable, my lively little adorable personality comes shining through. I'm a very good girl for my medicated baths, staying calm and relaxed while everyone takes care of me. What can I say? I know how to enjoy a little spa treatment! I'm a lovely girl with sweetness to spare, and I can’t wait to feel right at home with my new family! / Energy level: 4-6.    • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the 'come' command and I know how to accept friendly strangers without jumping on them. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners have been pretty good on the shelter schedule.     • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love treats (the way to my heart is definitely through my tummy!) and getting pets from my people. If you stop petting me before I'm ready, I may just give your hand a little nudge to remind you that the cuddle-and-petting department is still open for business! I’m sure we’ll discover lots more things we like doing together in our new home! / I was not well cared for before being rescued, so I would not like that and like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. You will notice that at times I walk a bit different—this is due to arthritis in my shoulders and hips, so I've learned to compensate. I'm on a good Cosequin tablet to help with this and I don't let it get me down. You'll also notice that I'm missing a lot of fur on my hind quarters. This is from a flea allergy and not being on a flea prevention in my former situation. Not to worry, I fully expect my fur to grow back in over time—just keep me on flea prevention please. I'm also on medicated baths twice a week for a little longer to help with this and these can easily be done in my new home. I came in with pretty infected ears, but I'm being treated for those. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future.   I'm looking for a wonderful family to love that will take great care of me! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
