Description
Cash is an 8-month-old male German Shorthaired Pointer mix who was surrendered by his owner because the other dogs in the home were unkind to him. He is almost entirely white with black markings on his head and ears, and has a docked tail. Weighing 42 pounds, Cash will likely grow into a large adult dog. He’s extremely playful and will need a securely fenced yard where he can safely run and play to burn off energy. German Shorthaired Pointers are known for their intelligence, high playfulness, and affectionate nature, thriving on human companionship. They are eager learners, vigilant watchdogs, and remain friendly and sociable. Cash’s strong bond with his owner and high energy mean he’ll need consistent mental and physical stimulation to live his best life. Because of his energy, it’s ideal for his adopter to be familiar with the breed and its activity level. We believe Cash would be good with children—probably best with older kids—and with other dogs, though a meet-and-greet would be required if you already have one.
