ISLAND NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Island Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of April 2026 SEX: male Approximate Weight: 45lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: VA shelter - needs a foster or forever home! Island is Looking For: His forever home! This young boy is eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he's storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days.
