Meet Derek!  Derek is an adorable 3 month old, 6.5-pound mixed-breed puppy, possibly a Chihuahua/Terrier mix, with a BIG personality packed into one tiny body! This little guy is full of energy, curiosity, and confidence! Derek absolutely loves to play, whether he's romping around with his sister Delilah or having a blast with the four large dogs in his foster home. Don't let his small size fool you—Derek isn't intimidated by the big dogs one bit! He's a brave little adventurer who loves exploring new places, checking out his surroundings, and discovering everything the world has to offer. Derek is also incredibly friendly and loves people of all ages and sizes. He's comfortable spending time in his crate or playpen and does well when left alone, settling in without much fuss. Like any young puppy, Derek is still learning the ropes when it comes to potty training, but he's making fantastic progress! He's a quick learner and consistently goes potty outside when given the opportunity. With continued patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he's well on his way to becoming a wonderful canine companion. Derek would thrive in a loving home where he can enjoy plenty of playtime, adventures, and opportunities to continue learning and growing. His outgoing personality and fearless spirit are sure to bring lots of fun and laughter to his forever family! Derek is neutered and vaccinated as appropriate for his age. His adoption fee is $350. A $100 refundable training deposit is also required at adoption. Training must be completed in a timely manner to help ensure our puppies become the best canine citizens they can be. The training deposit is refundable within three months of the adoption date.
