Description
Miss Violet is a 1-year-old, affectionate and playful young cat looking for her forever home!Miss Violet is a sweet and playful girl who has really blossomed in her foster home! She loves attention and is very affectionate with her people — expect purring, kneading, rolling over, and any other ways she can show her love! She is also curious and playful and loves to explore her surroundings. She enjoys active play, exploring, climbing, and zooming around the house, but she also loves settling down for pets and affection. She would do best with people who will give her regular opportunities for interactive play and exploration, followed by plenty of quiet time and attention.Miss Violet has a particularly sweet habit of looking to her person for reassurance when something is unfamiliar. Once she realizes that everything is okay, she is quick to settle back in and continue exploring. She has gone from a very frightened cat who hid in her shelter cage to a confident little companion who happily explores the house, plays, and seeks out affection. She can still be cautious when something is new, especially unfamiliar sounds, people, or cats, so she does best when she is allowed to approach new experiences at her own pace. With patience, she has shown that she can form strong bonds and become an incredibly loving companion. Miss Violet has an old, healed fracture on her left femoral neck. She has excellent mobility in her foster home and jumps and climbs with no obvious limp or limitations. Currently, she does not require special accommodations for the leg.Miss Violet currently lives in a house with two adults and two other cats. She has gradually progressed from spending most of her time in her foster room to confidently exploring and spending time throughout the home. Miss Violet's ideal home is one where her people will give her a little time and patience as she gets comfortable with her new surroundings. She would do best with adopters who understand that a cat may behave more cautiously during the first few days or weeks in a new home than she does once she feels secure. Once Miss Violet feels safe, she is affectionate, playful, curious, and eager to be part of her person's life. She would thrive with someone who enjoys interactive play, gives her plenty of affection, and will let her build confidence at her own pace. Miss Violet may be able to live happily with another cat, but introductions should be slow and carefully managed. Because she can initially be cautious or defensive around unfamiliar cats, a home with a calm, cat-savvy resident cat would likely be the best match. A patient adopter who is willing to let her set the pace during introductions would be ideal. Miss Violet is looking for a loving new home that will allow her to continue her journey from a frightened and cautious young girl to an incredibly affectionate and loving companion! Her foster family has watched her transform from hiding and freezing to exploring the entire house, playing, seeking affection, and happily interacting with her people. If you’re looking for a sweet and affectionate new friend in your life, Miss Violet just might be the girl for you!— — —There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown.
