Meet Storm, a beautiful 9 month-old Pitbull mix who may have a little bit of a stormy name, but her personality is anything but! With gorgeous brindle markings sprinkled across her mostly white coat, Storm is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. This young girl comes to us as an owner surrender and has quickly shown us just how friendly, loving, eager to please, and ready to learn she truly is. Storm is the kind of girl who wants to be right by your side, soaking up all the love you have to give while also showing you just how smart she can be. She already knows how to sit like a pro and is currently working hard on mastering “lay down.” And because Storm absolutely LOVES her treats, we have a feeling training sessions are going to be one of her favorite parts of the day!At just one year old, Storm is still a young pup with plenty of growing, learning, and maturing to do. She will flourish with continued basic and intermediate obedience training, along with some guidance on becoming a better leash walker. But please, don't let her need for a little fine-tuning overshadow the absolute lovebug she is! Storm is incredibly lovable, eager to please, and more than ready to learn everything her new family is willing to teach her. Her ideal home will be with a younger, active family who is intentional about providing her with both physical exercise and plenty of mental stimulation. Storm is not the type of girl who should simply be turned loose in a yard and expected to entertain herself. She wants to experience life WITH her people through walks, adventures, training, playtime, and all the fun that comes with being part of a family.Storm is heartworm negative, up-to-date on all vaccines and preventative care, and already microchipped. She will be available through foster-to-adopt until her spay appointment has been completed. With fall adventures and the holiday season right around the corner, Storm would absolutely love nothing more than to spend them surrounded by people who will love her, guide her, and help her become the very best version of herself.
