Hi! My name is Pebble. I looked like a little gray rock when I was itty bitty and first came to my foster home with my mom! The vet here says I have CH. I guess that stands for CHarged up, because I’m full of energy! (It’s really Cerebellar hypoplasia - a neurological condition where the cerebellum, responsible for balance and coordination, does not fully develop. Affected cats may exhibit wobbly movements and clumsiness, but the condition is not painful and does not worsen over time.) In fact, my foster mom nicknamed me Wobbles. I think I’m perfectly normal, but I don’t always have the best balance, and sometimes face plant if I jump off of anything (my foster family tried not to let me get anywhere high enough that would require a jump down without supervision.) I LOVE to play, play, play! The only animals I’ve been around have been adult cats. My cat mom would play with me sometimes, plus the 8 and 12 yr old kids in my foster home, and my foster mom. And I’d still have energy left over! Once I run out of energy, I’m ready for a nice snooze. I don’t like to be alone, and will cry if I can’t find any company. Sometimes it takes me a little bit to get used to new things, so I might be a little cautious at first, but after that, it’s full speed ahead! I’ve done really well in the car and with nail trims so far!
