Description

FIONA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Fiona         Best Guess for Breed:   Wire hair terrier mix    Best Guess for Age:   3 years old as of Sept 2026          SEX:    Female   Approximate Weight:  18 lbs as of Sept 2026   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   Puerto Rico Shelter. Foster or forever home needed!!   Special adoption considerations:    In certain home settings -- where the environment might be loud or more intense -- this dog would do better with another dog in the home to give her confidence.   Fiona is Looking For:  A forever home filled with love, cozy places to curl up and a friendly canine companion to show her the ropes! This sweet girl is ready for all the neighborhood walks, family adventures and, most importantly, cuddling close to her favorite humans.   Fiona can take a little time to feel comfortable in a new environment, but underneath that sweet shyness is a true cuddlebug waiting to emerge. Once she knows she is safe, she is eager to soak up affection and enjoy the warmth and security of being part of a family. Her adopters should be patient as she adjusts and give her plenty of positive experiences, gentle encouragement and opportunities to build confidence at her own pace.   In exchange, Fiona promises sweet companionship, loving snuggles and the joy of watching her blossom. What do you say? Is there room beside you for Fiona?   What My Foster Says About Me:   Coming soon!
