Zulu

Description

Hi, I'm Zulu! I am a 4 year old buff tabby girl! I have spent most of my life living outside, fending for myself. Someone brought me to the shelter and thought that I needed to be euthanized, but with a little love and care, I am doing much better! I do have a cataract in one eye, but I can see just fine with the other. I am SUCH a sweet girl, and I'm so glad that I'm going to get a chance to have a soft life with my own furever family. I love to be held and cuddled, I have a nice, deep purr, and I love to be brushed! It's a good thing I like to be brushed, because I do need it, even though I'm a short-haired cat. It's partly because I'm a little older and just have some trouble grooming my back--it's hard to reach around for that! I'm not a crazy playful girl--I mean, I love to bat a mouse around like any cat, but I'm not going to be bouncing off the walls like a kitten. So if you're looking for a calm, friendly girl with beautiful coloring and a good nature, I would make such a great companion!    The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.
