A SWEET SENIOR FELLOW: Approx. 12 years old / Approx. 7 lbs. Hi there, I'm Ripley! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a new home and family. I'm glad to be here and am enjoying my time in a wonderful foster home while I wait to meet my new family. Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I get along great with the other dogs—both large and small—in my foster home. If you have a nice doggie at home already, let's meet! / I get along with the cats in my foster home and don't try to chase them at all. All cats are different, so I'm not sure how I would do with other kitties. / There are kids that visit my foster home ages 11 and 14, and we are great friends! So, if you have kids 10+ let's meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me.       • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a dapper little guy with a sweet, friendly nature who may be a bit shy at first. I'm laid-back and enjoy the simple things in life, like snuggling into a cozy blanket and relaxing near my people. I'm pretty independent, so I like to snuggle on my own terms, though I will happily seek you out to hang around nearby. When I'm ready to get tucked into my blanket, I may even speak up to let you know it's time for some cozy comforts! I am a nice balance of independent and loving companionship. / Energy level: 3-5 at the most as I'm a laid-back sweetie.       • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I don't know any specific command, though I DO walk well on my leash with the rest of the pack. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so doing some training together might be fun! / I've not needed a crate in my foster home and have earned the privilege of free reign in the house. / I've done well with pee pads in my home, and I respond well to a good potty schedule. I sometimes go to the door to signal that I'd like to go out. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love being around my people, am a fan of food, and if you give me a soft blanket and a comfy spot to chill, I'll be one very happy little guy. I'm sure we'll discover other things we like doing together once I'm settled into my new  home. / I can't think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I needed a good dental cleaning and several teeth pulled, so I've have had that now and my mouth is fresh again! I'm on an inexpensive over-the-counter joint supplement called Cosequin that's good for all older dog's joints. My kidney values are a bit elevated so I'm on a kidney support medication for that. Just ask about it.   I am looking for a great home with a loving family for life! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
