Freckles is with our partner rescue in LA and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter Meet Freckles, a sweet boy believed to be a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Papillon mix—and a best friend just waiting to happen! Freckles is a little cautious when meeting someone new, but give him a little time to get to know you, and you’re officially in his best-friend club.  He gets along great with dogs and cats and previously shared his home with two other dogs before being surrendered by his owner. This good boy has a pretty impressive résumé:  House-trained  Walks nicely on a leash  Quiet and sweet  Comes when called  Loves being outside, staying close to his people When it’s time to rest, Freckles is happy to settle into a bed or cozy blanket. No big demands—just a soft spot to snooze and someone to love. Could this sweet, freckly fellow be your new best friend?    Freckles is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartwor m.  He has been neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $5 00.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
