Copper- Sweet Shih Tzu

Description

Copper is with our partner rescue in LA and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter Copper’s Second Chance  This sweet Shih Tzu mix is ready for a fresh start! Copper came into rescue when his family could no longer care for him, and this friendly little boy deserves a loving home to call his own.  Copper plays well with other dogs, and cats don’t bother him. He loves having his hair brushed—perfect for a little guy who will need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best!  He’s still polishing his potty manners: he uses the doggy door to go outside but currently needs a belly band for marking. A little patience and continued house-training support are part of his happily-ever-after. Sweet, scruffy, and ready to be loved—could Copper’s second chance start with you?    Copper is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartwor m.  He has been neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $5 00.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
