*ARLO

Description

Arlo (A143688) is a 2-year-old Am Pitbull Terrier who weighed 76.3 pounds on intake! 10/8/26 This handsome guy is Arlo! Arlo arrived at the shelter with incomplete owner paperwork; he waited out his stray hold and is now looking for his new place to call home! He was described as a shy but friendly guy who is quite affectionate once he gets to know you. Arlo was said to be most comfortable with women, but does well with men once introductions are made. He was also said to do well with babies and children. Arlo can be particular when it comes to other dogs and was said to do best with female dogs. He was also said to do well with cats and pocket pets. It is important that slow, safe, and controlled introductions be made to help set Arlo up for success. Arlo was said to be kennel trained, housebroken (will scratch at the door), knows his basic commands, and rides well in a vehicle. However, it was noted that it usually takes a treat to entice him into the kennel and he was known to urinate nervously. He is a sensitive soul. If you are interested in meeting Arlo, please let us know!
