Description
#A5799732 Meet Alpha , a stunning 6-year-old German Shepherd boy with a jet-black coat from tip to toe, like a velvety shadow, and the warmest soft brown eyes that will absolutely steal your heart! It’s clear Alpha hasn’t always had the kindest life - the fly damage to his ears suggests he may have spent far too much time living outside - but somehow this sweet boy has held onto his joyful spirit. He’s equal parts confident and calm, wonderfully social and playful with both people and other pups, and always eager to solicit affection and attention. Alpha enjoys some rough-and-rowdy play and can be charmingly vocal with his canine friends, happily giving them a hearty hello! He’s also a well-trained gentleman who walks nicely on leash, seems potty trained, knows sit and other tricks for treats, and takes his goodies ever so gently - no gobbling here! ❤️ Alpha has so much love to give and is ready for a family who will finally show him just how wonderful life can be. Will that be with you? -6 year old black German Shepherd -64 pound neutered male -may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 9/8/26 as an owner surrender - sadly, Alpha’s family left him behind when they moved -handsome dark black coat and soulful chocolate eyes -confident, calm, and vocal with friends, he is a social butterfly and is always down for a good romp with other pups! -well trained and well mannered - would easily transition into just about any home!
