Description

Brownie is not currently up for adoption at our shelter - instead we are helping his owner, Anna, by listing him as a Courtesy Listing in hopes we can help him find someone that will welcome Brownie into their home!  Anna's contact info is down below for anyone potentially interested. Meet Brownie! Brownie is a handsome copper-colored pittie mix who was the first puppy born in his litter. He has a sweet, affectionate personality and enjoys spending time with both people and his canine siblings. Brownie is great with children and loves giving kisses to everyone he meets. He enjoys playing with his brothers and sister and has a playful, gentle nature. He is also familiar with the command "kennel" and will go into his crate when asked. During the day, he spends time out with the family and is kenneled at bedtime. As a young pup, Brownie is still learning basic obedience skills. He brings plenty of personality to training sessions and has a funny habit of lying down when asked to sit. He responds well to patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement as he continues to learn and grow. Brownie is currently being introduced to cats and is making progress, although he still enjoys chasing them from time to time. With continued guidance and supervision, he has the potential to adapt well to a variety of home environments. Brownie would make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loving, playful dog. Whether joining you for outdoor activities or relaxing indoors with his people, Brownie is sure to bring joy, affection, and plenty of puppy kisses to his forever home.
