Sammy

Description

About MeHi! I’m Sammy, and I’m so excited to be part of The Rescue Crew with my siblings! I’m a super smart, fun, playful pup who loves EVERYONE I meet! I’m great with other dogs, and I especially love zooming around and playing with my brother, Scooter. I’m still trying to figure out this creature my foster Mom calls a “cat.” He’s kind of weird and doesn’t seem to understand that I really want to play with him! I’m doing well with my potty training and am crate trained, too. When I find my forever family, it will be my first time away from my brother and siblings, so I may be a little sad at first. I might even have a few accidents while I adjust. My forever family will need to be patient and understanding as I get used to my new home and routine. There were eight of us in our litter, although two of my siblings were adopted before coming to the rescue. I would love a family that is active and wants to include me in as many adventures and activities as possible! A fenced-in yard would be amazing so I can zoom, play, and burn off some of my puppy energy, but it isn’t required.I’m not much of a barker right now, although that could change once I’m no longer surrounded by my siblings, so my rescue family wants to make sure my potential adopters know that ahead of time.I’m really the bestest boy and I can’t wait to find the most amazing family to call my own. Could that be you?  WHERE IS THIS PET LOCATED? The Rescue Crew is a foster-based rescue, which means all of our pets are cared for in homes throughout Minnesota.  Foster Home Pets: Meet & greets are scheduled after an approved adoption application Cats at The PURRfect Match Adoption Center (Andover, MN): Some cats may be available to meet during open hoursPlease visit our website for the most accurate information on this pet and next steps. What Comes With Adoption? All of our pets are: Spayed or neutered Up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations Microchipped Dewormed On flea/tick & heartworm preventionAdditional testing: Cats: FIV/FeLV  Dogs: HeartwormPLEASE NOTE: Age and breed are our best estimates based on veterinary assessment and intake observations.
