Connor is a 4-month-old, 20-pound Labradoodle mix with a heart as big as his puppy paws! This sweet boy and his five siblings found themselves in a not-so-good shelter in South Texas, and we knew we had to step in and save them. Thankfully, all six puppies are now safe and ready to find families of their own! Connor is a very social, happy, and loving puppy who absolutely adores people. After not getting nearly enough attention in his short life, he is definitely making up for lost time! He loves being around his people and soaks up every bit of affection he can get. He also does wonderfully with other dogs and would love having a canine buddy to grow up with. Like his siblings, Connor is pretty much a blank slate when it comes to training. He hasn’t had much direction or the opportunity to learn what’s expected of him, so his new family will need to be patient and willing to teach him the basics. The good news is that Connor is a smart boy, and with consistency, positive reinforcement, and lots of love, we think he is going to be an amazing companion! Connor would thrive with an active, caring family who is ready for all the fun, puppy antics that come with raising a young dog. He needs a family who will give him guidance, continue his training, keep his mind and body busy, and most importantly, show him what it means to be loved. This sweet boy has already overcome a rough start, and now he’s ready for the best chapter of his life—a forever home where he can grow, learn, play, and be spoiled just as every puppy should be. ❤️ Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until his puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, he may chew on anything within his reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. His adoption fee is $200. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references.
