STANLEY — 8 MONTHS OLD & A WHOLE LOTTA PUPPY! Meet Stanley! This big, goofy, clumsy boy is listed as a "Hound/Shepherd mix," but your guess is as good as ours. All we know for sure is he's BIG, adorable, and has absolutely no idea what personal space means. Stanley was found roaming the streets of Milwaukee, and somewhere along the way, he missed the memo on how to be a well-mannered house dog. He's basically a giant toddler with four legs and zero boundaries. Stanley LOVES to play, but he hasn't quite figured out that not everyone appreciates his enthusiasm. Kids? He doesn't have a mean bone in his body, but small children are probably not his best match. He'll knock them over and might even give them a little nibble just to see if they're as fun to chew on as they sound. Dogs? YES! Stanley enjoys other dogs, but bigger, sturdy playmates are going to be his best fit. He's a rough-and-tumble kind of guy who hasn't mastered the art of playing gently with the little ones. Cats? That's a no from us. His size, excitement, and lack of boundaries make a kitty-free home the best choice. Training? Well... let's just say we're starting from scratch. Stanley has had very little training and needs someone willing to put in the time, patience, and consistency to teach him how to be the goodest boy. Stanley isn't a bad dog. He's just a BIG puppy who hasn't been taught how to be a good dog yet. We're looking for a confident, experienced dog owner who understands large, energetic puppies and isn't afraid to put in the work. Someone who can laugh at his goofy antics while still setting firm boundaries. Underneath all that chaos is a sweet boy with SO much potential.
