Description

* This dog will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, October 10th from 12PM – 3PM (unless adopted prior to the event).  3910 Middlefield Road All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption.   Adoption fee: $650   Infinity & Beyond: Little Paws, Limitless Personality   10–12 weeks old | Mini Schnauzer/Terrier mixes   Their names suggest a space mission, but Infinity and Beyond have a much more practical agenda: investigate every corner of the yard, conquer the squeaky toy collection, and find the best possible spot to nap against a human. These delightful puppies pack an impressive amount of confidence, comedy, and affection into two little bodies. Their foster’s review? “I LOVE these two dogs.” Five stars, with bonus points for their ridiculously sweet faces.   Infinity: The Brave Little Sweetheart   Infinity is a lovely combination of affectionate sidekick and intrepid explorer. She’ll happily follow her foster around the house, keeping tabs on the day’s activities, but she also has places to go and things to sniff. A new environment? Excellent. Let the investigation begin.   Sweet as she is, Infinity can hold her own. She enjoys playing with the household’s two 55-pound dogs and approaches life with a cheerful confidence that makes her a joy to watch. She’s a quiet gal, with minimal barking, and loves both a good adventure and a cozy snuggle afterward. Think tiny explorer with a very soft landing spot: your lap.   Beyond: The Belly-Rub Enthusiast   Beyond believes in giving everything his all— playing, running, snuggling, and especially sleeping. He’s the more outgoing sibling, with a little more to say, particularly when he’d like the big dogs to pay attention to him. His occasional commentary comes with an enormous helping of sweetness.  Once the action winds down, Beyond’s preferred destination is right against you. He loves tummy rubs, takes his naps seriously, and is happy to turn a quiet moment into cuddle time. His daily priorities are wonderfully straightforward: have fun, get loved on, fall asleep, repeat.   Their Daily Flight Plan   Both puppies arrived at their foster home ready to explore and make friends. They’re curious, joyful little characters who play hard, sleep hard, and make their foster laugh every day. Squeaky toys, chew toys, and oversized dog beds are particular favorites, and their zoomies suggest that someone forgot to install a speed limit.   They generally wake around 7 a.m., although they’re happy to linger in bed if the humans would like a slower start. After a potty break, a stretch, and a little playtime, breakfast arrives around 7:45 a.m. Lunch is at noon, and dinner is at 5:45 p.m. Their current menu is Farmer’s Dog for breakfast and dinner, with NutraSource kibble at lunch.   During the day, they enjoy supervised time around the house and yards with their foster. When she goes out, they settle in a gated kitchen area with toys and appropriate chews. They’ve been comfortable with this arrangement— and have already demonstrated enough ingenuity with the dog door that it now gets blocked when they’re left alone. These little brains are busy!   At night, they currently sleep in bed with their foster and sleep through the night beautifully. In their previous foster home, they slept in a kitchen pen, so they’ve had experience with more than one bedtime setup. They are not currently crate-trained.   Small Puppies, Big Potential   Infinity and Beyond love their foster’s resident dogs and have also enjoyed time with friends’ dogs. They seem delighted by people, too. They haven’t yet been around children or cats, so those introductions will be new experiences. Their friendly, adaptable personalities suggest plenty of possibilities for homes ready to guide a young puppy.   Housetraining is coming along nicely: they often head outside on their own, though a few accidents still happen. They’ll need continued consistency, frequent potty breaks, and praise as they learn. They haven’t started neighborhood walks yet, so leash skills are also on the future lesson plan.   Both are teething and enjoy having plenty of suitable things to chew. Neither has shown digging behavior. They may bark when startled or when the big dogs come charging through the house; Beyond is a little more vocal than Infinity, but their foster doesn’t describe either as an excessive barker.   Ready for Their Next Adventure   Infinity and Beyond will be adopted separately, giving each puppy a family and adventures of their own. Either could be a wonderful match for adopters who want an affectionate, funny, curious companion and are ready for the training and care that come with puppyhood.   Choose Infinity for a sweet little explorer who can confidently join the fun. Choose Beyond for a spirited cuddle enthusiast whose belly-rub requests deserve their own appointment calendar. Either way, the forecast calls for squeaky toys, flying paws, and a whole lot of love.
