Description
Meow meet Norah! She is a beautiful dilute calico girl who was found as a stray, and it’s clear that someone was mean to her in her past. Sometimes when a hand reaches towards her, she instinctively flinches and cowers, almost as though her body remembers something her heart would rather forget. She is not afraid but bracing herself for something that never should have happened to her. But Norah is a sweet and gentle girl. Once she has time to realize she is safe, she loves being petted, especially behind the ear scratches. She loves wet food time, soft cozy places, and the quiet comfort of knowing she is loved. Norah needs someone patient, gentle, and kind - someone who will never rush her and will give her the reassurance that she is safe. There is something incredibly moving about seeing a cat slowly realize that the past is over and that the hands reaching for her now only want to love her. We hope Norah finds the person who will give her that chance. She deserves to know what it feels like to reach for a hand and expect a gentle touch, to settle into a soft bed without a care, and to finally know she is safe, she is loved, and she is exactly where she belongs!
