Here’s Your Quick Peek: Meet Amyla, a two-year-old Standard Poodle with a big personality, a friendly heart, and plenty of get-up-and-go! Affectionate, curious, and delightfully goofy, she’s ready to turn everyday outings into adventures. Her perfect match is someone who loves being active and will help her channel all that enthusiasm into good manners. Please note—if you want to skip the text and go straight to the application, you can find the link here: www.carolinapoodlerescue.org/application/ Must have: A securely fenced yard, an active adopter with dog experience, and a commitment to consistent, positive training. Amyla is crate trained and working on house training; she also needs help with leash pulling and keeping all four paws on the floor when greeting people. Exercise: Plenty of daily activity, including walks, playtime, room to run, and mental enrichment. Toys, treats, and training games are great ways to keep her busy and engaged. Best with: An active home with adults or teens ages 16 and older who will enjoy her exuberant personality and make her part of their daily lives. Not ideal for: Apartment living, homes with younger children, or anyone seeking a low-energy companion. Energy level: High! Amyla approaches life with enthusiasm and needs regular outlets for both her energy and curiosity. Amyla came to rescue after her previous family’s lifestyle changed and they could no longer give her the time she needed. This friendly girl is ready for a fresh start with people who will embrace her playful spirit and help her keep learning. Good with dogs: Yes, both large and small dogs. Her play can be rough and energetic, so companions should be comfortable with her enthusiastic style. Good with kids: Older mature children, 12 and up. Cats: Unknown - Will be tested. Fun fact: Amyla loves running, toys, and treats—but she also likes following her people around to see what they’re doing next!
