Meet Little Girl! At just 5 pounds and 3 years old, Little Girl may be tiny, but she has a BIG personality and an even bigger heart! Little Girl is currently recovering from a broken leg and is receiving excellent veterinary care. Before long, she hopes to be back on all four paws, running and playing in the home of her forever family. ❤️ She is already taking applications now so we can find just the right match for this special little girl. Little Girl is happy to live with dogs and cats—after all, they’re ALL bigger than she is! Her absolute favorite place is on a lap or tucked into a sling attached to one of her humans. If you’re not carrying her, she’ll happily follow you everywhere, so you’d better watch where you step! She is housetrained, although she may need a little reminder and some patience while settling into a new home. She’s also a picky eater… in the sense that whatever YOU are eating is obviously the best food ever! Fortunately, she’ll also eat her own food. Like many tiny Chihuahuas, Little Girl has opinions—and she isn't shy about sharing them! If she feels she’s been left without enough attention for too long, she’ll let you know. Give her a cozy blanket, though, and you may not hear a peep. Little Girl is an expert blanket-nester and will happily burrow into any pile she can find. If you can't locate her, check under the blankets! Little Girl is looking for a family who will adore her, keep her safe while she finishes healing, and appreciate her big personality in a very tiny package.
