Description
Herbie is a 3 month old male Beagle who weighs in at 6 pounds. This pup's adoption f is $850. If you are still interested, please read more below. Hello, I am Herbie the love bug! Yes I was named after a cat in a tv show but my name fits me. I am a love bug—I give nothing but love and will absorb every morsel of love that you send my way. I am a pure bred Beagle puppy. I am a happy, healthy (though I had a mild case of kennel cough when I arrived), playful, snuggly little boy. People ask what my backstory is. I usually just answer that my backstory is “lucky”. I was a breeder release from somewhere in MO. That is fancy talking for the humans decided I was too old to have any financial advantage for them any longer. 3 months and too old to have any worth to keep. That is where ARF stepped in. They took me and a few other ancient (10-16 weeks old) pups and promised us all that we are precious, gorgeous, smart babies that anyone would be thrilled to become our parents. We are counting on you! Please fill out adoption application so that you can become my forever family. I promise you—I am smart, playful, loving—I think I invented puppy kisses, and want to be a part of a family more than anything at all. This pup is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and neutered. The new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. Please note ARF does not approve applications for any puppy under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you're interested in adopting this pup fill out an online application today! https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting. ARF is an all volunteer organization. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved. Thank you for your patience!
