Elaine

Description

🐾 Elaine — 3‑Year‑Old Husky/Shepherd MixElaine is a gentle, timid Husky-Shepherd mix who's looking for a safe, understanding place to land. She's a sweet girl who bonds quietly and gradually, and once she trusts you, she enjoys simple joys like a few throws of fetch, tug‑of‑war, and following her person around the yard.Elaine is house‑trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. She gets along well with other dogs, women, and children, and she has no bite history. She's a sensitive soul who startles at loud household noises and prefers calm, predictable environments.Elaine has a history of digging under fencing and escaping, even with added barriers. Because of this, a farm or rural setting would be ideal—somewhere she can enjoy space, structure, and supervised outdoor time without relying on traditional fencing. She responds well to kindness, learns quickly with food rewards (hot dogs are her favorite!), and comes when called after an escape.Elaine is ready for a home that understands her quirks, appreciates her gentle nature, and can offer the right environment to help her thrive.📞 Pennington County Humane Society 218‑681‑8045
