Description

Meet Stella! Stella is a quiet, calm girl who always looks a little lost in thought, like she's thinking about something important. She likes a peaceful home that matches her calm and peaceful demeanor. Stella's mornings start sweetly. She walks up to you quietly, rests her head on you, and gives you a few gentle kisses while she waits for some good pets. She loves having her forehead and ears gently stroked, and when you pet them, you'll find out why we think she might hold the world record for the softest ears. She's just as gentle at treat time. She takes treats so softly it's like she floated them right off your hand. Her favorite parts of the day are quiet naps in the sunshine and long stretches of looking out the window. Stella likes to be part of whatever's going on in the house, but she doesn't need to be the center of attention. She's happiest close by, taking it all in. When she does decide to join playtime, Stella loves chasing the other pups while they play fetch or wrestle over toys. She never tries to take the toys for herself, though, and she isn't much of a toy girl on her own. Most of the time she keeps to herself and enjoys her own company. Stella rarely barks. When she does, it's usually because she got a little too excited during play. When the other dogs in the house bark at deliveries or wildlife, she stays out of it. New people, places, and things can make Stella nervous, and when she feels unsure she may go off by herself for a while. She does best with patience and a calm, steady routine, and she opens up a little more once she knows she's safe. Bath time scares her a bit, but she does well when it's done somewhere calm and quiet. She walks nicely, but it still makes her a little nervous, so she'll need some more leash training from a patient person. Stella would do best in a calm, quiet home with someone who will let her warm up at her own pace. In return, she'll give you gentle morning greetings, a sunny-spot nap buddy, and the softest ears you've ever petted.
