Description

BRODY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name:   Brody        Best Guess for Breed:   Beagle mix     Best Guess for Age:   2.5 years as of October 2026        SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:  42 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! He has stayed in a home with a cat and although he was curious, he respected the cat's space.     Currently Living at:  DC area foster homeSpecial adoption considerations: Brody is shy and would benefit from a canine sibling if he lives in the city. He should be fine alone in a quieter setting if he's able to socialize often.   Check out these videos of Brody: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/VC0KQi_GRiQ and https://youtube.com/shorts/g6B1c609is4.   Brody is Looking For:  Brody is in his prime as a young adult dog and eager for sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures his new family can dream up. Making pup pals along the way is on his wish list as well. But you know what he wants most of all? To know he's safe and loved, where he belongs. In exchange, he promises all the adoring gazes he's storing up, and love and loyal companionship for all his days.    What My Foster Says About Me:  Brody is an exceptionally nice boy. His constantly wagging tail shows he's going to be an amazing family member. He's smart and highly treat motivated and walks great on leash.    Brody is good with kids, but like with all humans he’s shy at first then becomes more comfortable after a short time.   In the dog park,  Brody tends to be shy at first but when comfortable he’ll do whatever the other dogs are doing. Brody finds his crate as his safe space. In the first few weeks he slept there and stayed in the crate most of the time as he got comfortable with his new home. Now he’ll roam the house and occasionally sleep in his crate. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
