Petey

Description

Meet Petey! Petey is a handsome 3-year-old Lab/Heeler mix who recently arrived to New Jersey and is looking for a family to call his own! At 55 pounds, Petey is the perfect combination of playful and cuddly. He’s a low energy guy who enjoys running and playing, but he’s just as happy settling in for some quality cuddle time with his people. His current foster mentioned he's one of the calmest dogs they've ever seen! He’s good on a leash, doesn’t bark much, and is fabulous with both kids and other dogs. And then there’s Petey’s special talent: he’s an Olympic-level jumper! When Petey gets excited or wants your attention, he’ll happily bounce straight up and down like he’s auditioning for the canine Olympics. It’s an impressive and pretty adorable little quirk that is guaranteed to make you smile! Petey is not good with cats, so he needs a cat-free home. Petey is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccines, and ready to leave the shelter life behind. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who can enjoy an adventure with you and then curl up beside you afterward, Petey may be your guy! Petey is ready to find his forever family. Could that be you? To meet Petey, submit your application at www.peace4paws.org/adoption-application (use laptop or computer). Not able to adopt right now? You can still make a difference in Petey ’s life! Fostering is another wonderful way to help, or you can donate toward Petey ’s care while he waits for his forever family. Every bit of support helps us give sweet dogs like Ann  the love and care they deserve.
