Ottis

Description

Meet Ottis!  Ottis is a handsome 2 year old, 60 lb red and white coonhound mix ready to find his fur-ever. This sweet boy is house trained, crate trained, and has wonderful manners in the home. He’s calm, affectionate, and loves being close to his people, though an adult only home or with older kids would be best. Ottis is a big fan of car rides, couch snuggles, and cozy evenings at home. He already knows “sit” and “stay,” and he’s eager to please. Like any respectful co-worker, he'll let you work from home without demanding too much attention. At night, he doesn’t even need to be crated — once everyone settles in, Ottis makes his little rounds checking out each open room before curling up in a small pet bed at your feet and sleeping peacefully until morning. He’s the kind of dog who fits naturally into family life and brings a comforting, loving presence wherever he goes. Whether you’re relaxing at home or heading out on an adventure, Ottis will happily be right by your side. To apply to adopt, go to www.peace4paws.org/adoption-application on your laptop or computer. Not able to adopt right now? You can still make a difference in Ottis ’ life! Fostering is another wonderful way to help, or you can donate toward Ottis'  care while he waits for his forever family. Every bit of support helps us give sweet dogs like Ottis  the love and care they deserve.
