GINGER

Description

LOCATED IN PUEBLOMeet Ginger! This petite little nugget is playful, sweet, and still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. She can be a bit shy at first, but with a little patience and encouragement, her playful personality starts to peek through. Ginger would love a family who can give her the time and space she needs to build confidence at her own pace. With plenty of playtime, gentle attention, and a little patience, this tiny girl is sure to continue blossoming into a wonderful companion!I am not currently at the shelter because I'm growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by mid October.*You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
