Fritzi (NOT YET AVAILABLE)

Description

NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 10/2/2026: Fritzi - female - 3 1/2 years old - 15.4 pounds - Dachshund Reason for intake:  Fritzi came in with Estelle.  Sadly, one of their owners is in assisted living and the other had a stroke.  The neighbor helped the dogs find a place to go and that's where we came in.  Estelle is very scared and we are working on making her feel more comfortable.  It's baby steps with some dogs.  She'll get there.  Fritzi is scared but coming around quickly.  They are each heading to our vet the week of October 5 for everything they need.  Stay tuned. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS:  Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed.  Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining.   In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason.  We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.  In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered.  Please note…  we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.  Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.  We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
